This year’s Culture Crawl will take place:
September 22, 2018
RAIN OR SHINE
You have heard of a “Pub Crawl”. We are presenting an ”Arts, Music and Culture Crawl” with musicians, visual artists, performing artists, film makers, craft artisans and so much more stationed throughout the downtown- in our restaurants, salons, retail shops and more. This festival is FREE to attend and FREE to participate!
Encompassing the entire footprint of the downtown, Culture Crawl is one of the largest Arts festivals in New Jersey. Take one of the two NJ Transit train lines that bring you to Rahway and it will drop you right in the heart of the action!
Main Stages with featured bands, an ARTful kids section, the Rahway Reel Short Film Festival as well as music, dance and art lining the streets of this walkable downtown will inspire the artist in you!
Don’t worry if the weather doesn’t cooperate, everything moves indoors if it rains. You won’t have to miss a thing!
Past Crawls have feature some amazing acts. Theatrical performers from the show, Nikola Tesla Drops The Beat, enlightened audiences on the struggles of one of Rahway’s Own, Nikola Tesla; Dancers from Grounded Aerial literally swung from the rafters of the Hamilton Stage; and Hannums Harley Davidson’s curated a “Bikes as Art” show, displaying hogs that were for more than just transportation.
This is a once a year Arts and Music festival you do not want to miss!
