“Best of Rahway Reel Shorts”

In 2019, the Rahway Arts and Business Partnership expanded the Culture Crawl Concept to include the Culture Crawl Film Series, with the first pop-up screening, “Best of Rahway Reel Shorts,” at Atelier Rosal (74 E. Cherry St.) in downtown Rahway.

For the series, RABP partnered with Nick and Heidi Rosal, the proprietors, and curators of Atelier Rosal, a custom framing shop and art gallery, as well as with Lisa Vandever, a Rahway-based film curator and festival producer, most recently including the Rahway Reel Shorts Film Festival (RRSFF).

The series’ debut screening, “Best of Rahway Reel Shorts,” included award-winning works from the 2018 edition of the RRSFF, with offerings ranging from comedy to drama to experimental – some goofy, some sexy, some serious. A Q&A discussion with any attending filmmakers, several of whom are based in New Jersey, followed the screening.

Tickets were $16 when purchased in advance and $20 at the door.

Dates for 2020 coming soon.
